Lieverd ik ben Thuis was founded in 2023 by Koen van der Gaag, born out of a frustration with a world that makes it easy not to earn it. A world that trades depth for convenience, presence for distraction, and standard for speed.

We believe in something older than that.

Rooted in Dutch heritage and Dutch morals... the same mentality that built this country out of water, without shortcuts, generation by generation.. Lieverd was built for people who understand that a good life is earned, not given. That the choices you make shape not just who you are, but what you leave behind.

We believe in presence. Fully. Without exception.

When you work, work. When you eat, eat. When you sit at the table with the people you love, be there. Not halfway somewhere else. Not planning the next thing. Here. Completely.

That is the hardest thing the modern world asks of us. And the most important.

As a brand we have built a reputation for doing things the right way when the easier option was always available. Taking old standards, old cultures and old ways of living and translating them into clothing and a world that is relevant today.
